Our client is an innovator in bringing early stage cleantech businesses to market. Their challenge was to create bigger wins out of their product portfolio.
We focussed our efforts on finding a P. Eng (to understand the products) with an MBA (to understand markets) who had strong B2B marketing experience.
The challenge was to find the right fit. In the clients’ business model, Marketing serves as a head office resource to multiple operating companies. The trick was to find a person who could act as a consultant to the business units, win their trust and get traction quickly. In collaboration with the business unit GM’s our hire created new marketing plans and tactics that had impact.
