Vice President of Sales
Mandrake was hired to identify a new Vice President of Sales. The company had recently hired a new President from the consumer beverage industry. The challenge was to find the right candidate to compliment the new President. Furthermore, the company was also restructuring its business nationally. This established business had a strong name in the industry, but needed a turnkey customer experience. Mandrake had to identify a candidate who excelled in strategic leadership, team building and communication and could command authority through industry awareness.
The strategy was to conduct a North American search within the construction, manufacturing and consumer industries. The role had both National and International focuses, calling for a candidate with global experience.
After a North American search a candidate was identified in the United States who was willing to relocate to Toronto. The hire was a top sales executive coming out of one of the top consumer foods companies in the world. With significant leadership skills and a proven track record of building strong sales teams, this hire also had direct industry experience.
