Although we seldom think it can happen to us, burnout can affect anyone in any profession. Burnout typically has three components: exhaustion, alienation and low personal accomplishment. Most victims don't recognize the symptoms and attempt to alter the circumstances they feel are responsible. However, the symptoms themselves actually hold them back from improving, causing their frustration to mount. Similar to the three components of burnout, this
