Our client, who split from Transport Canada in 1996, had the mandate to operate Toronto Pearson International Airport within a regional system of airports to enhance economic growth and development of the GTA and to deliver outstanding aviation facilities to its customers which includes air carriers and passengers.
Responsible for leading the development and management of the +$100MM parking and ground transportation business, this coveted role focuses on maximizing revenue, increasing margins and contributing to the betterment of the customer experience at Toronto Pearson International Airport. Our search and recruitment strategy targeted individuals experienced in developing and executing business strategies that drive revenue and enhance customer satisfaction, favouring those with knowledge or familiarity with airports, transportation, travel, and/or the hospitality industry.
After a comprehensive executive search, we identified, vetted, and interviewed a small number of individuals who matched the hiring criteria. The successful candidate brought a mix of tier one marketing experience, in consumer-packaged goods, transportation, and travel sectors.
